Our Organization

The RRVLA has a passion for the sport of lacrosse. We have a desire to see it thrive and grow in the FM community.

To ensure that our program is established in a way to help that desire succeed we have built our foundation on being a non-profit organization, having elected board members, and having set bylaws to guide the program in a positive direction for future growth.

The Philosophy

We believe lacrosse can be a strong tool in teaching young athletes the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, and hard work. We desire that playing the game of lacrosse is a positive experience for all players involved.

We believe the key to that is equipping every player with a solid foundation of fundamentals and education on the rules of lacrosse to make sure the game is played the right way. At the same time, we strive to outfit each team with the means to succeed by having experienced coaches with strong lacrosse backgrounds teach the game and instruct teams on how to compete at the highest level.

In The Community

Lacrosse is a fantastic sport because of how people involved become part of a community connected by the love of the game. The RRVLA is a club organization that encourages players from all areas of the FM community to come together to play the fastest-growing sport in America.

Our local lacrosse community stretches all the way from youth ages to a strong collegiate presence here in Fargo-Moorhead. The Polars organization coaching staff has representatives of all three collegiate lacrosse programs in the area, NDSU, Concordia, & MSUM, and we are working together with these programs to grow the sport. These partnerships help to create a life cycle for the game in our area. Our local college athletes work with the Polars coaching staff to teach Fargo Moorhead's youth to love the game of lacrosse. In return, players become the future of the sport and as they continue to develop into possible future collegiate athletes, officials, coaches, or team administrators.
